I have to say that you Vision is very ambitious. There is a sexuality that you capture that Disney had missed out on with Ariel being a mermaid and being an adolescent. Flounder is portrayed as just as he is, a fish. I gave you a 4 star for originality because so many people have done artistic medians for Ariel, otherwise I must commend you for your unique take of Ariel. In your Technigque it is obvious that have taken a lot of effort in makeing this piece and it shows very well. This piece impacted me by making me feel that there is a certain sexuality and sense of love that is being portrayed by Ariel. Something I don't usually see in Disney characters. Overall, I must admit I liked this piece because there is a sense of buding adulthood, as well as female confidence that most mermaid pieces I see lack. Great Job.
What makes you not like the way this turned out? Personally I think its one of my favorite stylized renditions of Ariel It is certainly unique at any rate!
thanks a lot!... in the future maybe i'll go back to this and do what I really wanted to do with it... it just didn't turn out the way I've visualized =/
